And they also performed their highest-selling single of the year "Straight Lines".
Other performers included Powderfinger, Missy Higgins, Gotye, and Sneaky Sound System.

The highest-selling album went to Damien Leith for his collection of songs performed on Australian Idol.

Sneaky Sound System had six nominations, and took home two awards on the night.

While Operator Please took home an Aria for "Just A Song About Ping Pong".

Missy Higgins picked up the award for Best Female Artist, while Gotye took home the male equivalent.

Nick Cave used his Hall of Fame speech to call out the fact he wasn't sure why he was inducted without his band members.

And in the week leading up to the ceremony, he had been vocal about his disdain for the Arias.
"That [The Arias] is something I've been avoiding for 25 years because I think it's so fucking tedious. But I think I'm allowed to come in the back door, get inducted – however they're going to induct me – and leave and go and get a kebab," he said in an interview.

Seven acts in total were inducted into the Hall of Fame.
And Nicole Kidman made an appearance in support of husband Keith Urban.
He won Best Country Album for Love, Pain, & The Whole Crazy Thing.
